With lessons learnt from last year &#8211; I made sure there was something entertaining and &#8216;Hands on&#8217; for those with little hands.. In addition to the fun and games it was a big success  &#8216;Saving&#8217; the main layouts from unintended tinkering \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"358\" class=\"wp-image-1137\" style=\"width: 550px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.burtoncrumpnold.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/BP-SG-2405-Camilla1_s.jpg\" alt=\"\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"358\" class=\"wp-image-1135\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.burtoncrumpnold.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Toy-Disp2405.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.burtoncrumpnold.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Toy-Disp2405.jpg 552w, https:\/\/www.burtoncrumpnold.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Toy-Disp2405-503x600.jpg 503w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also reminded me about the difference between a &#8216;Portable&#8217; layout &#8211; Such as the &#8216;N&#8217; Gauge &#8211; Stowey Green &#8211; Easy to put away and transport. <br>And a &#8216;Mobile&#8217; Layout such as Burton Phoenix &#8211; Many car loads, a lot of time and trouble to put up and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had hoped to get the even more portable &#8216;Stowey Town&#8217; layout if not finished, then at least presentable for this event &#8211; but sadly other commitments have slowed its progress. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the success of last year we decided to get out Burton Phoenix and Stowey Green for display as part of an event for this years Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza.
