At the dawning of 2025 work finally started creating the new Loft Room intended to house a new Burton Crumpnold layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now as we reach the end of March there are just a few jobs short of completing the space, including a final fit of the electrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been a very Messy and dusty processs, it is good to have the new floor, insulation and plasterboard in to ‘seal’ the place. Now we can start cleaning up the house, particularly the Office room that houses the new Loft Hatch entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This View from the existing Loft space entrace shows the new Loft Hatch and Ladder (down) – so I can work up here without the current loft hatch getting in the way of the Bedrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a view to the original loft hatch. The rest of the roof is behind a new door which should allow more storage.
The holes and small doors on the ground are to allow access to the loft eaves – again more useful storage options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopefully the room will be ‘built’ in a week or so. Then onto a bit of painting and the start of fitting the place out.
